Bath & Body Works Fall Candle Haul + Review!

It’s September, and that means one thing. IT’S OFFICIALLY FALL.

Ok, technically fall doesn’t start until the 22nd of September, but we round down in my household. Naturally being the basic blonde that I am, I had to head over to Bath & Body Works and grab some of their fall candles. Honestly, they’ve out done themselves this year. I wanted to buy every single one, but you know..bills and stuff. I’ve ended up with five (so far).. so without further ado, let’s begin.

*Side note: I wanted to take pictures of them all before I started burning them so that they’d be all fresh for the blog, but I couldn’t help myself!

Notes: Crisp Red Apple, Golden Nectar, Warm Clove Spice

A fall classic, this is definitely one that I purchase every year when the fall scents are released. You can definitely smell the fresh juiciness of the apple, but it’s nicely offset by the spice. It has a hint of sweetness but it’s definitely more spice than anything. It makes me feel like fall is here, even thought it’s perpetual summer in Florida. Trust me, it’s a cult favorite for a reason.

Notes: Toasted Marshmallow, Smoldering Woods, Fire Roasted Vanilla, Crystallized Amber

This scent is so good, it literally smells like you’re at a campfire roasting marshmallows. I’m usually not a huge fan of scents that have marshmallow in it because they tend to be sickly sweet, but this one isn’t. The smoky, woody scent cuts the sweet just enough to make this candle super cosy and delicious. Curl up with some hot tea, a book and enjoy.

Notes: Golden Honeycrisp, Apple Blossom, Fresh Sugarcane

Guys, this candle though. It is so realistic, it smells like an apple orchard at harvest time. It’s fresh and juicy…if a scent can be described that way. It’s sweet, but more of a fresh sweet, rather than a sugary sweet. This would be perfect for somebody who isn’t a fan of the pumpkin or cinnamon/clove scents that tend to dominate this time of year. Bonus: Rohan loved it, so if you have a man in the house, they might appreciate this one too!

Notes: Harvest Pumpkin, Spiced Clove, Vanilla Cream, Brown Sugar

Mmmm, yes the scent of fall. I absolutely adore this candle, I would marry it if I could. No, but seriously, it is the perfect blend of pumpkin and spice. As a certified basic blonde, lover of all things pumpkinspice..I give it a million thumbs way, way up. Neither the pumpkin nor the clove is overwhelming, they just come together to make a deliciously fallish scent. I don’t know if you can tell how obsessed I am..but I am.

Notes: Caramelized Banana, Pumpkin Puree, Walnut, Cinnamon Sugar

Truth be told, I thought I wasn’t going to be a huge fan of this one. While I love me some banana muffins, I’m not overly keen on things that are banana scented. I usually find them really artificial smelling and gross. Not this one. It literally smells like pumpkin banana bread right out of the oven. It’s not too much banana or pumpkin either which is nice. It smells sweet, but not sickly. It makes me want to bake and then eat.

GIVE ME THEM ALL. But seriously, I have such a love relationship with B&BW’s candles, it is unreal. Of the 5 I bought I am probably the most obsessed with Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, with Leaves coming in a close second. I’d definitely repurchase all of these in future, because they’re absolutely lovely. They are a bit pricey at $22.50 a pop, but B&BW almost always has some kind of deal going on, so quite often you can get them cheaper. Wait for the deals guys, wait for the deals! Protip: the RetailMeNot app usually has a coupon code that you can use online or in stores.

Have you bought any of the Bath & Body Works fall candles/products? Which are your favorites, which should I try? Let me know in the comments below! As always, thanks for reading and stay golden!
