Anyone that knows me will tell you that I love YouTube, and watch it a lot. One of my favorite YouTubers is British beauty blogger Zoe Sugg, better known as Zoella (you can read her blog here). I think she is really inspiring and I love watching her channel. Naturally, when she came out with her own product line I was really excited to try out her products. It’s not the easiest to get them here in the US, so when I went to the UK over the holidays, it was a perfect opportunity to grab some of them. Some of these were given to me from my boyfriend’s wonderful mom, and some of them I bought myself.I’ll be sharing with you the 5 products I got and my thoughts on them. Let’s get started!
The first thing I want to share with you is the Creamy, Madly, Dreamy body lotion. It’s part of her Classic collection, and as it indicates it is an all-over body lotion. First of all, how cute is this packaging? I love the printed lace detail, it’s absolutely adorable. Now about the actual product- I really like it. It’s moisturizing without being too heavy. It absorbs really nicely into the skin, and doesn’t leave a film or residue. The scent is really nice, light and floral, not to overpowering, which is nice. At a really great price point of £5.00, it’s definitely worth picking up!
Next up is Let’s Spritz, which is her fragranced body mist from her Tutti Frutti line. I love this product. It’s got a fruity scent without being sickly sweet, which so many are. It’s not an overwhelming or heavy scent, so I especially like to wear it during the daytime. It’s a very refreshing scent, perfect for spring & summer, so I can see myself wearing it a lot in the upcoming months. Again, that packaging is phenomenal as well. So pretty! I paid £8.00 for this at Superdrug, and I would definitely repurchase!
Another item I got was the Kissy Missy Lip Balm, which was given to me for Christmas. Although it’s not my favorite item in the Tutti Frutti Collection, I do like it. I generally use a lip brush to apply it, but you could use your finger just as well. I like the pink color, and the fact that you can layer it to get a brighter, more opaque look. It’s not sticky, which is a definitely plus, and it’s unflavored, which for me is fine. It does have a nice scent to it, not too strong but vaguely vanilla-y. As an alternative, you could try using this as a cream blush or cheek stain. If you rub away the sheen, it leaves a pretty pink flush. At £3.00 it’s a good price point as well.
Next is the Foam Sweet Foam Cleansing Shower Gel, another one of the products in the Tutti Frutti line. While the packaging is sooooo cute, the product isn’t my favorite. I thought the consistency would be more liquid-y, but it’s really jelly-like. It didn’t lather as much as I thought it would either. On the other hand, the scent is really great, as with all the other products. I also like that it contains extracts of Acai and Blueberry, which are meant to soften and soothe the skin. I paid £3.50 for this at Superdrug, which isn’t bad. Overall, I wasn’t overly impressed and probably wouldn’t repurchase, but I don’t hate it either.
Last product is the Soak Opera bath soak & shower cream, definitely my favorite product of the range so far. Again, packaging is super cute, and the size is really great. I mean, it’s really big guys, you get a lot of product. It’s £5.00 at Superdrug, which is a really great price for the amount of product you get. The smell is absolutely delicious as well, I really enjoy it. It’s creamier than the shower gel, which I like. I prefer the consistency as well, and it lathers like a dream. I haven’t used it as a bath soak yet, just because I don’t take baths very often (I can’t even remember the last time), but I’ve heard that it’s really great for that too. I especially like it because it leaves my skin feeling clean, but also moisturized. I like to use this and follow up with the Creamy Madly Dreamy body lotion. As I said, it’s definitely my favorite product of the range, and I’d definitely repurchase.
So that’s it for my Zoella Beauty collection so far, though I hope to add more to my stash soon. Let me know if you’ve tried any of the collection, what your favorites are and what you think I should try next! As always, thanks for reading!!
